Richard earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1991, where he served on the Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence award in trial advocacy. In addition, Richard obtained an advanced law degree, an LL.M. in Taxation, from the University of San Diego School of Law. Richard also earned a master's degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, School of Theology.  He received a Bachelor of Science, studying accounting, business management, and public administration, from Biola University in 1988, where he finished number one in his class. Richard is a member of the faculty of Trinity Law School, where he teaches Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure and Ethics. He is licensed to practice before all the State and Federal Courts in California and the United States Tax Court. His practice emphasizes trials of business, trust and estates, and real estate disputes, as well as appellate advocacy.  Richard previously worked in the Office of the General Counsel for Ernst & Young, LLP.  In 2011, he published a law review article on eminent domain.  Richard practices in our Long Beach and Orange County offices.
